pleasantly surprised at the high quality

I picked up a handful of introductory books on the brain this week. This is the first of them that i finished. It was a pleasant surprise to see the high quality of the writing and the general usefulness of the information. It is a condensed book (good for those with little time and great interest in the topic), introductory in nature and level of detail, written for that mythical educated layman. recommended as a place to start, not only for the information but for the generally interesting style of writing.
