Great Book On Oregon And Washington

THE ROUGH GUIDE TO OREGON AND WASHINGTON 1 is a great book covering both states. It covers all of the essentials about sightseeing, dining, outdoor activities, shopping, and nightlife, as well as discussing several important Seattle neighborhoods. The two malls covered in this book are Westlake Center in Seattle, Washington, and Lloyd Center Mall in Portland, Oregon. Unfortunately, the book totally misses several other malls in both the Portland and Seattle areas, as well as the posh unincorporated Portland suburb of Dunthorpe and several other Portland neighborhoods. Overall, though, this book is totally wonderful, despite these omissions, and is a great supplement to several other books about the area.

Lewis & Clark would approve

RGs always deliver and this is no exception. Used the sites, hotel, and food info and found them very helpful. The only downside is this guide is two years old, so some newer hotels/restaurants weren't reviewed. Especially like the interesting "fact boxes" interspersed throughout the guide. We never go anywhere without Rough Guide!
