A fantastic story. Loved every minute of reading it. It's a story that will stay with you long after you read the last page.
Wonderful read!!

The Rocky Ridge Man is a romance between a rough cowboy trying to save his home and a polished ad exec trying to save her career. Meredith March presents a clever plot (using the hero for a rear-end advertisement is priceless!), sparkling writing and clever twists and turns. I'm not a huge fan of categories; I prefer longer plot-driven books. But March kept me hooked from cover to cover with an intricate plot and well-developed characters. Plus, I learned so much about the ad industry! Really great reading. I look forward to more from this new author.
A Fun Book

The Romantic Times and The Romance Reader both gave this book mediocre reviews, and I couldn't disagree with them more. I picked it up and simply could not stop turning the pages. The chemistry between Sonya and Clint is explosive from their first meeting, and they are very well-matched. With a great cast of secondary characters and plenty of sparkling dialogue, Ms. March has crafted a true page-turner. I especially liked how the final chapters played out. The climactic events were so dramatic and heart-stopping, the tension unbearable, that I almost had to put the book down to recover. That "Breathtaking" label on the front cover is no exaggeration--and the guy on the cover isn't bad either :). I wouldn't have minded a little more development of the romantic part of their relationship, rather than the sexual one, but that's a minor point. Though I'm not a big fan of books with cowboy heroes, this was a pure delight. Don't miss it.
A melding of city and ranch romance
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 25 years ago
Most quick romance ("quickies") novels take place either on a ranch or in the city, this one takes place in both, and it works. I had stayed away from "quickies" (Harlequin/Silhouette) for a few years because they were all the same. I lucked out by picking this one up with the first 5 "quickies" on my trek back to them. I'm glad I read it, unlike another one that I'm actually tempted to toss rather than pass on to a friend.
