Good Gulf One War Novel

Dr. Holt, himself a Desert Storm vet,writes the story of 6 different men with a variety of jobs and their experiences in the war that recaptured Kuwait from the Iraqis. Lots of combat action. Good descriptions of firefights. Tells about the men before their call up, while in the desert, and after they get home so you get the complete picture. Very good reading for a first novel. Best Gulf One novel I have found so far.

GREAT BOOK!

This book is wonderful. It is full of heart, adventure, real life, and history. "The Rising Storm" is somewhat based on the real life tale of the author's experiences in the Gulf War--the story of a medical doctor in the military. He brings characters from all different backgrounds and types together to create this wonderful story. Read and enjoy!!
