Great insights - buy this book!

This is a great book. It combines practical insights and a story format. The big takeaways for me are: 1. How to move beyond just having key performance indicators into confirming expectations; 2. How to extend goal weighting into the focus of your weekly activities; and 3. I believe his 10 Ethical Principles in Business are thought-provoking. He does not mention it in the book, but my understanding is these 10 principles are based on the 10 Commandments. This is not a religious book. The reason I recommend this business book so highly is because I believe when you're done reading it you will have new ideas to implement in your company that will enable you to more fully engage your employees. I believe what Jud recommends is very consistent with my Success With People system.

Well-written counsel in the "One Minute Manager" format

This is a great read that you'll likely identify with from the first page. It lays out a practical, repeatable process that fosters personal life-change and unleashes performance in both your relationships and company. It's practical, do-able, and built around easily understood tools. I've been using the tools for a few months, and they've delivered great results for me. Some books you read; precious few books "read you"--this is one. This will open your eyes and help you navigate a path toward building the results--and relationships--you want personally and professionally. And it's written in the style of the "One Minute Manager" business parable--so the storyline includes many practical examples you'll be able to relate to.

LIFE CHANGING

This book gets right to the point that most of us miss. It taught me its not about the conquest, the money or the having more than everyone else on the block. It is about the relationships in our life and how we should take responsibility for them and put them first.
