The first book concluded with the Brown family weeping, as Joseph had firmly told them that they could not follow them to Egypt, as God had told Joseph to do. Amongst the mayhem, the Browns and their friends, hitch a ride to Nazareth, where Mr. Brown successfully re-establishes his Mouse Transportation Company. Time passes then a family of three moves into a house a few doors down from the Browns. The young family looks eerily familiar. Could it possibly be Joseph, Mary, and Jesus, who was now a young boy? If it is, would the Browns experience that internal peace they knew in Bethlehem when Jesus was just a newborn baby? Will the Browns finally discover the true purpose of Jesus's presence on Earth?
