Smart Book! If you are job hunting this is a MUST!!!!

I have been applying to work in a highly competitive company for months. My resume is literally stacked up against hundreds of other applicants. I was having zero success because I was bragging about everything, relevant and irrelevant, on my resume... It is fine to include information only if it is pertinent to the job for which you are applying! The book says that if you are applying for a position as a lion tamer- you do not need to include information about floral arrangements!! How true!! The job of the resume is to get you an interview! This book is a must have if you are serious in your job search. The resume examples in it are also very current & helpful as well. Good Luck on your job hunt!

An excellent resource with all the tools you will need to get started on your job search. It is a must read primer those without a resume, first-time job seekers, or those who have been out of the market for a while.

Excellent reference

I picked up this book used to get me started writing my first resume. It offered serveral examples of good resumes, along with a few bad. It also offered examples of cover letters. I found the book very informative. The introduction set a good foundation for me to focus on while writing the resume. I was very happy with the results and would definitely recommend this book.

This book will help you write a cover letter and resume that will get you in the door. The rest is up to you. There are examples of both good and bad resumes along with a realistic step by step guide to building a resume. This book is good for a first time resume writer, but it is especially good for someone who hasn't been on the job market in awhile. You will be able to send your resume out with confidence.
