Excellent History Lesson for Children

An excellent childrens version of the Israel Bissell story. I truly enjoyed the book, the illustrations were wonderful and finding all the hidden details made it fun for the whole family. The story is told by the crow who flies along as Israel rides his horse. They both persevere as Bissell warns of the British, and the call to arms. Paul Revere is given all the fame and Israel Bissell did the hard work. A great New England History book for kids.
