I strive to read 100 books a year and this is one of the only authors books I buy and keep. I love dual timelines, and the way she weaves them together is clever. I'm actually buying a second copy of this book as I loaned it out and can't remember to who!

I was totally turned off by the disrespect to Vietnam War veterans early in the book, but I continued to read to page 50 hoping the book would redeem itself. It did not. The author's writing is bable using too many words and the style is difficult to follow. I usually read a book and pass it on, but this book went directly to the recycle bin!
