Tedious

I really tried hard to get through this book but after a reasonable beginning in devolved into nonsense.. I have only read one other book ( Anonymous Miss A) by this author and was not particularly impressed but thought I would give her another try, but this one was far worse - unbelievable and uninteresting characters and little or no plot. The worst part is the writing style - very affected, as if she were writing in the period the book is set- bizarre. I gave up two thirds of the way through - a very rare occurrence.

THE BEST KASEY MICHAELS BOOK

I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves Regency Romances and to anyone that loves to laugh out loud. This book will not disappoint anyone who picks it up. I've read this book at least 15 times and everytime I read it, it's like reading the book for the first time again. I still laugh at Samantha's antics. Great Book, Ms. Michaels!!!!!!

Excellent and Fun

Zachary St. John, devilishly handsome Earl of Royston marries young Samantha Ardsley for 'entertainment and sons'. She is refreshing and irrepressible. He certainly gets more than he bargained for. The dialogue and situations were so funny, at times I would laugh out loud. Certainly a different and most enjoyable Regency romance.
