Ahuman child has become lost in the Realm and it's up to Jessie to find her. With the help of the magical Rainbow Wand, Jessie sets off to save the day -- only to discover a terrible secret that threatens the peace and safety of the Fairy Realm.
My eight year old, montessori schooled daughter LOVED this whole series. We read all ten and then re-read them. She would even take them off and read them herself when we couldn't read to her. Great, funny, endearing and interesting characters and plot twists that really hook you into each book. Each book works on its own, but great to go back and get #1 and work through the series. If you buy one book, you will buy them all. Fairy Realm #1: The Charm Bracelet
Another high point in the series

My 8 year old daughter has read this entire series to me, over the past eight months. Both of us have really enjoyed these stories, not just because they're well-wrought, but also because we actually like the characters and care about what happens to them. In The Rainbow Wand, Ms. Rodda has added an extra delicious measure of suspense, and just enough anxiety, to make the book nearly impossible to put down. Admittedly, not all of the Fairy Realm books have been this absorbing, but all have been written extremely well for "children's literature" and satisfying in their conclusions. And those illustrations -- simply gorgeous! For those who've come to know Jessie as a fictional best friend with whom you can't wait to spend more time, don't miss this story. If you've not read any of the books in this series, please give them a try.
