Thought provoking

I bought this book at a flea market, and thought I would take a chance on it. I thought it was very interesting. I would have liked the book to be longer. It was an interesting study of the consequences of government and vanity, and a good look at how humans became hunters and gatherers. Because of the nature of the world there is much violence, raping, and pillaging. Not for the faint hearted.
