The Quickest Quokka's Quest

Each week, an Aussie-based train flies over Rottnest Island's Quokka Station but it cannot land; it's been banned by the Quokka Rule Book. Rottnest quokkas aren't allowed an Australian mainland vacation.

This flying train isn't any old train, it's the flying Q-Train which visits only places spelled with 'Q' from Quetta to Quamby Brook, Quinalow, Quorn, Quorrobolong, Quedjinup and Quambatook

Quokka Quint finds the Quokka Rule Book a bore and dreams of exploring Australia and travel, but fellow quokkas taunt him, leaving him to devise a quest they feel is impossible - to board the Q-Train mid-flight.

Quint tries everything he can think of to catch the Q-Train; he swings from a crane, jumps from a plane and even rockets across the ocean.

After many mishaps, including a rescue from the ocean, Quint loses faith until he meets fellow quokka, Quintessa, who points out that the answer to winning his quest has been with him all along.

Together they fine-tune their plan and successfully board the train mid-air but their quest offers more than travel when the train driver discovers Quint is his answer to the clean-green energy solution they have been searching for.

The Quickest Quokka's Quest offers fun words in a rhyming style; a great little story to read aloud to your little treasures.
