And when seemingly innocuous Nadia tapes blew up the coats and cloaks, all traditional media went overboard to black out the story.

Amidst the cacophony that followed, technology offered a level-playing field for unheard voices, unkempt hairs, drooped shoulders and fragile limbs. Social media needled the traditional media houses and became the new custodians of public conscience.
