Unlike the boozy, gun-toting out for a buck and a good time starship riding capitalists of the Polesotechnic League, the Psychotechnic League, rebuilding after a nuclear war, is not so much fun. It is more a case of ideologues and secret agents (or super secret agents, even), as rebuilding and expansion into space happens. There's a short intro that sets the scene before the stories, and a little linking material.
