Forgive it the title

People tease me whenever they see this book on the shelf next to 'serious' occult texts (The Goetia, Abra-Melin, etc.) and yet it is to this book that I turn for sound advice. This is the book that tells you to be sure to put down a layer of sand before burning loose incense, and advises against 'ancient words of power' because you will always find yourself thinking 'ala-peanut-butter-sandwiches'. All in all, a must for any serious practioners library for its no-nonsense attitude. It is such a shame that it has gone out of print. [One Warning: The binding is a bit on the wimpy side.]
