Early Nabb, Worth Reading

Hard to find, out of print, but worth searching for in libraries and used books. Ms. Nabb's writing and characters improved in later years, especially with the Marshal Guarnaccia series, which are excellent reading. Even though this book was interesting, the ending, though not unexpected, took something away from the experience.
