VERY disappointing!!

Prince from European principality falls for ‘bluestocking’ . Plot is minimal, dialogue appalling. Characters more like cardboard cutouts. A heroine who is described as smart and independent but who is actually a total nitwit. A hero who loves women but does not, also pathetic! I am typically a fan but Ms Hawkins is capable of MUCH better than this. Hard to believe that she even wrote this! I had bought the two sequels but am now reluctant to even attempt them.
