Delightful & Delicious

The recipes are interesting and delicious. And, most importantly, they're clearly explained and easy to replicate. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for fun cooking ideas.

THIS BOOK ROCKS!

I should write a disclaimer first and say that not only did I edit this book, but the author is a very good friend of mine. I actually hired her to write it. But that doesn't bias me--if I hated this book, I wouldn't write a review of it... I'd just be very very quiet. As the editor, I naturally read every recipe, tested a good number of them in my home kitchen, and baked a bunch for the book--for the photos, etc. I am not particularly skilled at baking with yeast. In fact, it scares me, as the author well knows, given my many phone calls to her the night before the photo shoot. That said, all of the recipes I baked from this book were not good... they were spectacular. I was so proud of myself for making them--of course, I give all of the props to the author for making it SO EASY. Not only were my pretzels scrumptious, but they were beautiful, as well. I was amazed at the food combinations Priscilla dreamed up for this book, and every one of them was delectable! This is a great book for people who love pretzels, for those who like to bake, for those who want to bake something new, for people who want to bake with their kids, etc. The recipes are simple--for the most part. And they yield flavorful and heartwarming pretzels that you can enjoy for days. I can't recommend this book enough.

A Pretzel Artistry Book for Beginners

What a GREAT book! -- I recommend this for everyone who enjoys baking homemade breads. Simple, easy-to-follow, and quick to make pretzels based on a basic recipe. Tons of suggestions for new flavors, and great pictures of various ways to twist them. Creative fun for kids in the kitchen; Everyone can make their own and share with others.

A very fun book!

I was worried when I bought this it would be a book about just toppings that you can put on a pretzel but the recipes in it were great! I never thought of stuffing pretzels with so many yummy sounding things before! I bought it as a gift for my dad who loves pretzels but after looking through it I didn't want to give it up!
