Excellent reference, long out of print

This is one of the best general purpose reference books ever written. I have lots of other and newer books, yet I often wind up back with this one. Between this, Perry's "Engineering Manual" (also sadly out of print), and the CRC "Handbook of Chemistry and Physics", I can find answers to almost any technical question related to the underlying science or engineering practice of any project. Highly recommended!
