Excellent and Thought-Provoking!!

This is an excellent book on kindness! It's so inspiring! I keep it on my nightstand and read a chapter every night, and when I'm done, I begin again!! It really points out how kindness can make a difference in peoples' lives, and everyone can do it!!

Still with me after all these years

I have had this little treasure since it was first published. It lives in my gym bag and provides meditations that I use at the end of yoga-based fitness classes that I teach. It is a little treasure that deserves space on many shelves.

Nice little book

I like the idea of being kind. The meditations help but I personally found it difficult to be kind when I was operating on so much fear. This fear was removed by the book An Encounter With A Prophet. After my core fears were gone the meditaitons in this book became more real to me and my kindness was not fake.

Terrific little book to remind us how to live kindly!

This is a wonderful little book of vignettes--to inspire kindness in our daily lives. As a fan of Harold Kushner's, the introduction was thoughtful and gave cause for consideration in today's stressfilled world. I've found that by simply reading a page or two, it helps keep kindness in the forefront of my lifestyle--a daily reminder of how I want to live my life--being kind and courteous to everyone I have contact with. I have bought copies for all the important people in my life and for a few others in hopes that kindness will become a way of life for everyone and our world will be a more loving place. VERY well worth the purchase!
