Phyllis Schlafly is a constitutional attorney and president of Eagle Forum, a leading fighter for pro-family politics and agendas. This book is her reflections on the sexual liberations and other feminist's ideas in comparison to how she has lived. She demonstrates through her life that it was by living a Christian life of devotion and motherhood that she was to be "liberated." The book provides criticism and arguments against radical feminism. Betty Freidan once said over the radio, "I would like to burn her [Phyllis Schlafly] at the stake." It takes much courage for any individual to stand up against a political force such as feminism and say, "You're wrong." Much like Dr. Alice Von Hildebrand in THE PRIVILEGE OF BEING A WOMAN, Schlafly shows how the system that best promotes women isn't the government; it's God.A must read for anyone wanting to show other women's accounts of the feminist movement and the Equal Rights Admendment.

...After reading just the title of the review "Omg just read the title!!" for Phyllis Schafly's book, it is clear that whoever wrote this never read the book, never intended to read the book, and in fact, I'm willing to bet, has never bothered to research what the Bible itself has to say about the Christian woman....She (I'm assuming) was just wanting to lash out, which is her right,... but she is lashing out from ignorance....To be fair, I have never read the book either, but I am fully aware of what the Bible has to say about Christian women, and I do know of Phyllis Schafly. (Which is why I gave 5 stars, but also to counter the 1 star given by whoever-that-was.)...From what I know she is one of the sharpest minds around, and her list of accomplishments , both personal and professional, is mighty impressive indeed....I'm picking up a copy of this book.
