Cute and Fun

A great graphic novel with a fantastic story to follow! Also, the diversity in body types of the girls is realistic, except for their fairy forms. The girls are portrayed as realistic children, which is very nice to see!

I love this book but the quality of the book I received was horrible!

I was very disappointed when I received the book. A page was already torn out and when opening that section more pages came out. I was so excited to start reading the book but the quality of it was such a letdown.

This came FIRST!

I live in Sweden, where the W.I.T.C.H. magazine is published. You should all know that the comic came FIRST, before the novelisations and the show. Where else would the comic inserts have come from? Also, I like the comic much more than the show because it has a nicer style and of course it's the original. This is an excellent story about five girls who discover they're more than just a face in the crowd.

One of my faves,by Dominique,age 10

I like this book for a couple different reasons: one is the drawings, another is it kinda reminds me of well, Sailor Moon and Winx. Even though winx is a few years old,(like, 2002 maybe?) and Sailor Moon's from the '90's, I think in a way it went like this: Sailor Moon went on to Winx Club and Winx club went on to W.I.T.C.H.,maybe? Anyway, back to the review..... another reason I like this book is because it puts you in different moods, like, funny, happy, and a I-wonder-what's-gonna-happen- next-mood.Well I better not tell ya about the story if ya hadn't read the book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Don't wanna get the story spoiled, do ya?! And plus, I'll give ya some advice: Don't AND I MEAN DON'T try to read like the end, cause that will spoil it baaaaaad!

W.I.T.C.H. Graphic Novel 1 The Power of Freindship

This book was AWESOME!!!!I own this book. Will,Irma,Taranee,Cornelia, and Hay-Lin learn about the magic of friendship and thier powers in this book. But anyway,if you like W.I.T.C.H., You'll LOVE this book!!!!!!!!!!!!

A truly beautiful graphic novel!

This book is worth the price and more. The artwork is beautiful and the storyline is innovative and interesting. It'll definitely keep you reading. This first volume of tk's graphic novel explains how Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin became the group W.I.T.C.H. It deals with them discovering their powers and learning of their destiny as guardians of the veil and to save the land of Candracar. And they have to do all this while dealing with their families, high school, and boys! Also recommended: the rest of the graphic novels in the series and anything by tk!

Wonderful graphic novel for all fans of W.I.T.C.H.

This is the first graphic novel in the W.I.T.C.H. series. It tells the same story as the first two W.I.T.C.H. novels, The Power of Five and The Disappearance. In the first story, Will is a young teenage girl who is new to the town of Heatherfield. At her new school, the Sheffield Institute, she meets four other girls -- Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin -- and they quickly become friends. Soon after, however, strange things begin to happen in Heatherfield. The girls seem to have developed mysterious powers as well. They learn they are the Guardians of the Veil and have the power and responsibility to protect earth from invasion by the creatures of Metamoor, another dimension that is populated by evil beings. In the second story, the girls' friend Elyon has disappeared, and as they search for her, they encounter more trouble from Metamoor. Readers of the W.I.T.C.H. novels are sure to love this graphic novel. I like the books, but I really love this comic version so much more. The art is really cute, and beautifully done, and I think the comic format is just so much better for telling this story. I can't wait until the second W.I.T.C.H. graphic novel is released, and I highly recommend this comic to all W.I.T.C.H fans.
