Darby Conley can do no wrong

I have been a fan of the Get Fuzzy franchise since day 1. I love reading the comics one after the other without the hassle of waiting another day. Sassy cat, silly dog, single guy. Like Garfield, but with more edge. I love it!

Darby Conley is back in shape!

I feared that Darby Conley had lost his touch after the previous "Get Fuzzy Treasury; Loserpalooza", which I found to be average and rather mundane compared to his other books. This, on the other hand, reminded me why I loved Get Fuzzy after all. Simply brilliant comedy about the life of Satchel Pooch the simple but well-meaning mixed-breed dog, Bucky Katt the megalomaniac cat and Robert Wilco, the single office-worker with a slightly nerdy touch. Put these three characters in the same house, and you have some seriously great humour. This book made me laugh out loud so many times that this book would be worth its weight in gold. The series is built upon incidents that stretch over several strips, for example the war between Fungo the Ferret next-door and Bucky Katt. One particularly hilarious strip centred on the previously mentioned interspecies war located on page 101 goes in the final cut with Bucky saying; "You have my little bear back by 6:30 or you'll be sleeping with the fishes, Poochy" and Satchel answering "Actually, at 6:30 I'll be sledding with the ferrets". Better in drawn form, of course, but still hilarious if you know the characters, which I assume you do considering that this is the fourth book. As you probably know, this book collects the two collections named "I'm ready for my movie contract" and "Take our cat, please!" Check out this treasury of laughter, I suspect you'll never regret it. 5 stars and wishing for more from Mr. Conley to come soon!

A fantastic, hilarious comic strip

I won't go into how fantastic this comic strip is, but it is easily my favorite comic strip of all time. :) For the uninitiated, there are eight collections so far and three treasuries. The fourth treasury is not yet released. Please keep in mind that each treasury is two collections put together, so as far as I know the treasuries are the same as two of the collections, except I believe the treasuries have the Sunday comics in color while the collections have them in black and white. In chronological order, the collections are: 1. The Dog is Not a Toy: House Rule #4 2. Fuzzy Logic: Get Fuzzy 2 3. The Get Fuzzy Experience 4. Blueprint for Disaster 5. Say Cheesy: A Get Fuzzy Collection 5 6. Scrum Bums 7. I'm Ready for My Movie Contract: A Get Fuzzy Collection 8. Take Our Cat, Please: A Get Fuzzy Collection The treasuries are: 1. Groovitude (encompassing collections 1 and 2). 2. Bucky Katt's Big Book of Fun (encompassing collections 3 and 4). 3. Loserpalooza (encompassing collections 5 and 6). 4. The Potpourrific Great Big Grab Bag of Get Fuzzy (encompassing collections 7 and 8). These comics are beyond hilarious, and I would highly recommend them to pet lovers/haters of all ages. :)

Get Fuzzy is great - this is two books in one.

I love all the Get Fuzzy books. This is TWO of the smaller ones in one book. Be careful you do not order the books that this book contains AND this book both hoping to get even more, because you will end up with duplication! This contains BOTH My Move Contract and Take Our Cat in one book. It is not new material.
