A magical, nonsensical journey

I read this to my two year old and she loves it. The illustrations are bright and eye-catching, and the language is evocative and rhyming. The whole story has a 'beat and rhythm' to it which toddlers seem to find appealing. Some of the words make absolutely no sense, but this is the fun of the book (think a little bit of Dr Seuss with an Eastern twist!). A fun book that allows imaginations to run wild!

My two boys, age 1-1/2 and 3-1/2, both thoroughly enjoy the Poombah. The rhymes are unusual and fun, and the illustrations are eye-catching. Your kids will demand that you read it several times each night.
