Seussian in the best way

The Pigs Went Marching Out is a delightfully written and illustrated children's book. Rigamonti clearly has a talent and a passion for such storytelling. It is clear that he loves Dr. Seuss's rhyme scheme and rhythm. Who better to emulate for such elements? This is the sort of book that is great for reading to children, as it flows very nicely out loud. I'll avoid a plot summary (you can find it further up, if you'd like), but I'll end the recommendation by saying that if you're looking for good children's stories, this is one of the better ones.

Fun and thrills are packed into this book "piggy style"!

Pesky, the pig, clashes with his lifestyle on the farm, and leads his fellow pigs to a more merry way of living in the big town. I laughed on every page at these capricious pigs in the author's script as well as his fun-filled illustrations. This is a wonderful book for all ages of children, and teaches at the end the moral of responsibility and forgiveness.
