Highlighted by Wonderful Photography

The photos in this book were incredibly spectacular. Two of the photos were taken close by to our house. The professional photographers at "Texas Monthly" are to be commended for their excusite story-telling.

good, but not great

The photos are interesting. Perhaps a little text from the stories which originally accompanied the photos should have been added to give some context. Most of the photos were included in the February 1998 issue of Texas Monthly, and with the big price difference, I think the overall package is a little disappointing. However, it does make a nice coffee table book for Texas natives like myself.
