This guy is a god! Learn from a master of light manipulation

What's up with the three star reviews. This guy is everywhere now. He had his own filters made to alter light in an uniquely artistic way. Something different? Too much filtering? Heaven forbid something looks so good you wished you thought of it. If your not creative or don't wish to broaden your horizons - this isn't a book for you. Go home and put on your little tu- tu! Excellent examples and explanations. Pick up any art or photo magazine and you'll see some of his work.

... I have always been overwhelmed by the seemingly infinite number offilters available and used by professionals. This is the firstmaterial I have ever found that not only explains the different typesof filters but also explores the science how they work. I now feelmore confident using filters and am better able to anticipate theireffects. Far from being focused on "special effects", thisbook is a great reference for anyone looking to enhance theirphotographs through the use of filters.
