While Menendez's ability to profile the Perot voters of the 1992 election is helpful to understand what type of people are apt to cast their ballot for someone such as Perot, its usefulness ends when attempting to determine what type of people tend to vote for third parties in general. Such a topic is important because third parties were what Perot was all about. If, however, the same type of people that voted for Perot also vote for other third parties in general the book is quite useful to a third party supporter or candidate who wants to determine what type of people to target for support. But whether or not all Perot voters were and are necessarily third party voters cannot be determined from the book. Nevertheless, it remains a noteworthy discourse on why and how millions of people rallied to Perot's calling.
