But Chris refuses to settle down--and Renee won't settle for less than she needs, even if that means walking away from the perfect man....
I am not a big reader, but I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was well written and kept my interest the whole way though.
I love this Series

Chris had his work cut out for him with Renee, but he was the man for the challenge. First he has to convince Renee that he is nothing like Marc, then he has to help her do what seems impossible, find her great aunts necklace. This makes for a exciting ride on the road to love. With Chris, Renee discovers the sensual woman living dormant inside her. In the end, love was worth the ride. With Chris' help we find out there is another side to Marc after all. Who would have thought it possible for Marc to do something unselfish, when it seems like he has done the unthinkable. I personally have enjoyed all of the stories and I thought book was very good.

The Perfect Romance!

I haven't read much by Carla Fredd, but nevertheless, I looked forward to the second edition of the Three Mrs. Fosters mini-series. I know the first book of the series, "This Time for Good" received mixed reviews, but if you're wondering if you should pick up the second installment of this series then the answer is a resounding YES! Carla Fredd did an excellent job developing Renee and Chris's story. I was curious about Renee's story when she was introduced in "This Time for Good" and let me say that Ms. Fredd does not disappoint! Renee was originally introduced as the intelligent, extremely conservative, yet caring mediator when the wives first found out of their husband's deception. In that story we began to see a little of Chris's attentiveness to her as she dealt with the initial shock of her ex-husband's betrayal. This story brings it full circle. We learn that both Renee and Chris have had lonely childhoods filled with pain and disappointment. We also learn that shy and conservative Renee has an inner strength and cleverness that Chris finds absolutely intriguing. Chris is a sexy, sweet, and protective hero that shows Renee how special she is and gives her the confidence to be herself. As they struggle to put together the pieces surrounding her aunt's missing necklace the chemistry sizzles and the love they find with eachother becomes undeniable. This is such a special romance that's relatable, realistic, and heartwarming. There's even a little action, along with humor and some sizzling love scenes that will make you smile and wish you had a Chris of your own. Buy this book and you will not put it down until you've finished reading it!
Much Better

This book is a much better introduction to the Foster serious. The character development is much more believable. The previous book laid the foundation for the sparks that erupt between Renee and Chris. Ms. Fredd is a good writer. If you would like to find out read If Only You Knew. You will get a better impression of how good of a romance novelist Ms. Fredd really is.
