Sensibly written, easy to read 'Path to Your Ascension'

I respectfully disagree with the former reviewer. I 'would' suggest that you read this book even if you do not have any background on the phenomenon of ascension based on the Ascended Masters teachings. "The Path to Your Ascension" does assume that you believe in karma and reincarnation, just as the early Christian Church did before they were removed by later church councils; and that you have an open mind regarding ascension. When I was in school I learned that Jesus ascended into heaven, and Mother Mary was 'assumed' into heaven as well. Jesus said that we should do as he has done, "and even greater things." I believe that balancing one's karma is possible in this or the next life, opening the door to not having to reincarnate again. Paying back our bad karma is not a punishment. "God, in his great forgiveness and love... allows us to be on the receiving end of our deeds so we can learn from them and never [have to] repeat them." (p. 86) Annice Booth clearly and intelligently lays out the process, seemingly with the help of various Ascended Masters themselves, of how a spiritually conscious person might work toward cleaning up enough karma to not have to reincarnate again. The book takes the form of a series of classes taught primarily by Serapis Bey, "regarded in Theosophy as being one of the Masters of the Ancient Wisdom." (Wikipedia) Intertwined with karma and reincarnation is how we can access the violet flame in meditation. "We've been given the knowledge of the violet flame to transmute our karma... and this comes not by our merit, but by grace, by the love of God. It is his gift to us." (p. 90)

Applying the Teachings

Do not read this book first if you have no background on the ascension based on the Ascended Masters teachings. Read the Lost Teachings of Jesus first (4 vol) and then proceed to this one. It is worth the time. Wonderful and awesome book that shows you in practical and useful terms how to develop your I AM Presence spiritually and become like Christ in a material world to win the victory of your ascension. The book includes the Ascension requirements and explains them fully. There are personal growth assignments that help you look realistically at yourself and what areas you have developed verus those you have yet to. This helps us take control and balance of our four lower bodies and emotions through prayers, mantras, decrees, and modifying/correcting behavior in order to bring about transformation in our lives, thus be an example to others. These also help free us as humans from the chains that bind us to this plane and aids us to also send healing energy out to our troubled world. The pearls of wisdom in this book also help us understand why we must Call to the Heavenly Hosts to help us because of our God given free will. I recommend it to anyone who is searching for the God within themselves. For those truly seeking this path, visit The Summit Lighthouse online.
