To all you Jane Austen lovers out there who are bristling with indignation after reading the above heading---this book is not a copy of Jane Austen's precious stories, re-written to include the modern views of society; far from it. This is a delightful novel with a flavor of Jane Austen's novels, but still entirely it's own wonderful story. Yes, the main character reminds me of our beloved Elizabeth Bennet; Liz Benning too is blind to the charm of a curtain man, vowing that she will never be set up with him, and there is also the existence of a very Wickhamy Wickham. The book has similarities to Pride and Prejudice in this sense, and to Emma in family relations, but the book in question by no means copies the above titles. This is by far my favorite book! It is a book meant to be read cover to cover on a lazy summer day, and it is hilariously funny! I read the book three times in one year. Please buy this book, you won't be disappointed!
