Read what God is saying today!

This is a great Bible devotional book. I like the author's commentary because it is not her opinion, but is based on what the Bible, the Word of God, says. Also each devotional includes a prayer, and a revelant comment from another source, and also a daily Bible reading plan. I enjoy giving the book to family, friends and strangers!

This book can change your life

I read each daily reading with hope and faith that the message I need for the day will be revealed to me. There have been times where I was totally amazed that the daily message was spot on for addressing a particular trouble my family and I were dealing with. I have found a level of peace and happiness that everyone searches for when they turn to the Lord. After several weeks of reading each daily message, I found myself feeling less stressful. I have begun to share this book with others in my family and even began holding a family bible study based on the day's reading. I highly recommend "The One Year Book of Praying through the Bible" for everyone, but especially for those dealing with trouble and stress in their lives. It will bring comfort and peace in your lives.

Year Long Blessings

This daily devotional has brought timely encouragment and direction through-out this year. Although I had not finished with the year long readings by September, I knew this was my best choice as a thank you gift to bless a team of leaders I had been working with on a very intense project which affected hundreds of lives. They received it warmly and look forward to the treasures instore for them within these pages as well.

I really love this book. We recently moved and I no longer had any friends or small group to keep me accountable to reading my Bible on a daily basis. I purchased this book to give me some direction in my reading and to keep me in the Word daily. I love the daily reading, scripture quotes and prayer. I highly recommend this book! You don't have to purchase it with the One Year Through The Bible. You can read this with your Bible in whatever version you prefer. I also recommend that everyone read one chapter of Proverbs in addition to the recommended reading from this book.
