This is the story of a vessel, of a type called jakt, that was afloat

and in service for 123 years. Such a long life is exceptional.

Our vessel has had three names. She was named Stine Katrine

when finished in 1868, ?sta 1 in 1935, and Anne Kristine in 1952,

a name she kept through four owners over 39 years.
