The sun rises on this...

Five stars for the night the stars fell! You are in your prime, Christina. Can't wait for your next book. Thanks:)

A REAL STAR!

The night the stars fell is wonderful! I couldn't put it down. Anything by Christina Kingston is definitely worth reading.

Fantastic !!!

Ok... I thought I might put in my two cents worth..It's a great book... The story does not start off slowly.. You practically get introduced to everyone in the first two chapters. What I liked about this book was that there was no big misunderstanding (which I hate!) Just the two characters gradually getting to know, like and fall in love with each other. I am seriously going to hunt down her previous book ' Ride with the Roses'

Ths STAR is Rising.

"The Night The Stars Fell" is a cosmos of wonderful romance writing. Skillfully combining scintillating dialog, captivating characters and an emotionally compelling plot, Christina Kingston has crafted another star quality love story for her readers. Stars collide when Lord Blysdale, an intoxicating hero, who kindles a fire in the blood and inspires a "Consummation devoutly to be wished for," meets his ladylove Kate. Lady Katherine is an intelligent and beautiful young woman, dedicated to caring for her brothers. Kate is a chantelaine by day and a highwayman by night. When Fate brings Kate and Bly together she soon falls under the spell of her gallant hero, and they become allies in each other's quests. Christina Kingston has splendidly developed these soul mates. Lord Blysdale has many complex layers to him and a need for love that is palatable. His neglected childhood has left deep scars that only unconditional love can heal. A love Kate has in abundance. Dialog between Bly and Kate is wonderful. Using humor, Double Entendre, desire and a thread of sensitivity to hold it all together, Christina Kingston has woven an alluring veil of sensuality around conversations between Bly and Kate as well as throughout the story. Delicious French words like J'adore, Je T'aime, Cherie, Doucement come to mind when Kate and Bly are together. A sparkling assortment of characters is sprinkled like stardust though this action filled romance. Griswold, Blysdale's valet is a gem. Engaging characters from "Ride For The Roses" returned in "The Night The Stars Fell," which leads me to hope there will be a sequel. Christina Kingston is truly a gifted writer. Bravo Christina.

Exciting regency romance

Earl Chalfont "Bly" Blysdale travels to Cliffside seeking information about the disappearance of two of his few friends, Smythe and Mathers. However, a highwayman stops Bly's coach. The thief searches the coach, but leaves without taking anything. Bly is amused with the event. The next day, Bly arrives at the home of one of his former junior officers in the Peninsular War against Napoleon, Josh Clifton. There he meets and is attracted to Josh's competent sister Kate. As Bly seeks to find his lost comrades, Kate continues to hold up coaches in search of stolen jewels that will prove her sibling Hal is not a criminal. Kate and Bly soon fall in love, but both retain secrets that, if revealed, could easily destroy any relationship between them. THE NIGHT THE STARS FELL is an exciting Regency romance that stars two strong lead characters with personal agendas that interfere with their love for one another. The story line moves forward rather quickly due to the antics of Kate and Bly, protagonists that readers will like. Though Kate's hold-ups require a stretch (not because of her gender) due to the impossible logistics support system, Christina Kingston has written an enjoyable historical romance that will provide much gratification to sub-genre fans.
