Not perfect for RCIA

I really enjoyed this book. It covers many topics in an educated and thorough manner; he routinely goes to the source, either the bible or church documents, to give his answers. I have just finished RCIA, and had read most of the book before hand, so I have to say it might not be the best book for a brand new catholic. It's more geared towards pre-existing catholics. It's a good companion on technical matters.

Catholic Life in a New Century

I have found this book very helpful in answering questions about the Catholic faith in understandable language. It covers a variety of subjects and is a perfect gift to give to both to the "cradle Catholic" as well as any inquiring individual.

Excellent Resource

My husband and I teach RCIA and use this book constantly as a resource when questions are asked that we are unsure of. We have also given it as a gift to several new Catholics to use when questions about their faith come up.
