An Excellent Book for Toddlers!

Is your little one outgrowing the baby-sized, baby-oriented books? If so, this book is perfect for them! It's a real book, big-sized, and with a delightful story to read... just like the "big kids" books, except it's a board book so it's not easily torn or damaged! Oliver is a little boy whose best friend is a toy dog named Mike. But one day, Oliver got a real puppy named Muffy. As the book says, "Oliver knew that a real dog was different from a stuffed dog. But he didn't know how different." The book goes on to compare what each dog could did but the other didn't. It's got cheery illustrations and large print that's perfect for pre-readers and early readers to understand the relationship between printed text, the illustrations, and the story. There's some repetition in this book as well, so your little reader can help "read along." Reading to your child is the best way to show them that you love them and help them develop a lifelong love of reading. It also gives them a head start with their vocabulary, reading skills, and comprehension! This book is a great way to start.
