Back to the basics

The New Age Guide To series was designed as a self-help forum to almost any topic imaginable. They call it a unique approach to the subject matter. There are essentially 16 chapters of actual self-help, 18 if one is to count the introduction and the close in that total. Which, I personally believe should. I say this because the author still incorporates food for thought in the opening and closing of this book. The format is clear and concise. The reader knows what to expect in each chapter. It is all lined out very easily. Let me say when I agreed to review this book I was more than a little skeptical. There have been such a plethora of self-help guides with bogus information, pushing current trends, or advise that I, personally, have felt harmful for a "good relationship". However, I was surprised and delighted to start reading this take on it. From the moment I opened the file, to the very last page, I found myself nodding and thinking "Yes. It is this simple. Why don't more people know these facts?" Then I felt thrilled to see that there was a book making it possible for people to learn the gentler side of self-help. The side that lets you know, yes, it is that easy. Love should not hurt. You should not have to tolerate embarrassment of abuse for someone to love you. As the title indicated, Baldino shows the easy lay out of how we should Love Simply. I think this is a beautiful book. Well, done. Whether you are single, married, involved, a parent or not, this is one of my choices for RECOMMENDED READ. Love Simply boils it down to the basics.

Thank you to Ms. Baldino for writing a book that celebrates positive relationships. What a gift this book is--There is something in it for everyone--For young adults whose relationship styles are just emerging, there is so much that they can learn in these pages about how to love and be loved. And for those of us who have been at it a while longer, this book is a wonderful reminder of what love can be and should be!

Simple and necessary reminders

Baldino writes with admirable precision about the things we must do to navigate the sometimes tepid, often tempestuous waters of love relationships. Many of her points appear so simple and intuitive that we don't realize we've forgotten them, and that's what's most important about the work. For anyone who wants to maintain or salvage a healthy relationship, or for folks who feel their love is unreplenishable, this is your book. Baldino is smart, demanding, and right on in her approach.

Simply a great book

As I get older I realize the only way to have a happy and successful relationship is to do exactly as the author recommends and eliminate the drama. This book is lovely and well written, lacking judgment and offering sound practical advice for improving and enhancing relationships. I think most of us can relate to the various scenarios described and certainly can benefit from taking the time to read and practice the advice in this book. I found this book to be much more accessible and pleasant to read than other relationship books- it's nicely written, well edited and easy to read without being preachy or overly sentimental. Thanks to Greene Baldino for a book that appeals to both men and women while offering a platform for openly and honestly discussing difficult issues that must be dealt with to have a happy, satisfying relationship. If you are ready to take your relationship to the next level, this book is for you.
