Very disappointing book from normall great writer

Francis King has written some incredibly suspenseful horror novels that made one breathless to get to the end. This book also made me want to get to the end, but only because nothing was happening before that. I imagine that the book was intended to show that family ties run very deep, even when confronted with something your sibling did that was wretched. Yet, until the last chapter we never know what the brother has done and nothing before that leads you to any conclusion. I cannot recommend this book. Look up another of Francis King's book and you'll be much more satisfied.
