Book Overview

Seth, speaking exclusively through Jane Roberts, reveals a startling new concept of self, answering questions about the secret language of love, human sexuality, the real origins and incredible powers of dreams, and how we choose our physical death -- sometimes years in advance. For the first time Seth explains: Why love is the basic language from which all others spring; the bisexual nature of humanity and its biological and spiritual importance;...

Seth's material is like nothing you have ever came across, i assure you.

Simply amazing and indescribable, as is all of Seth's material i have encountered. Start with the Seth Material, then Seth Speaks, then NoPR (Nature of Personal Reality), then go from there, or however you happen to encounter them works too. *shrugs* Spontaneity knows it's own discipline.

just a great book

How we create our reality, psyche, sexuality, dreams, simultaneous time, dimensions, love, and our past are some of the more in-depth points in this Seth book. Although this is just the beginning. In beginning, my view, this book explains the "nature of sexuality" more completely than any before. I am euphoric Seth shared his opinion because it is a very important subject. Many, many people may be shocked at Seth's view of sexuality, homosexuality, or lesbianism. Seth helped me understand this hot topic much better. Anyone interested in this area should read. This is but a small portion of this book. Some of Seth's explanations do seem repeated from previous material, however there is much new material. The way in which Seth explains the subjects in new wording tones and sentences are far enlightening. I find there is some great info regarding dreams. In my opinion, Seth has always been outspoken on the importance of dreams. What I exuberantly enjoy about Seth are his explanations of dreams and the dream reality, this is how I correlated Seth's information into my belief of Seth. By having a foothold of my own dream experiences I have correlated them with Seth's view of the dream world. In addition, Seth can explain how we create our reality like no one else. Something beyond the words, and the symbols of this book. A feeling, tone, or a transcendence sense that I come away with Seth's spoken, then written words. This perception been commented on many of times within Seth groups, and as I look back and write about this sense, it still feels strange and unknown. Any person having a fond love for a book will understand. The Nature of the Psyche is not as detailed or long as "The Nature of Personal Reality" but amazingly to the point, the chapters are shorter and gave me an excellent explanation of the topics presented. I like the fact that it is shorter.I left much out of this review but I do believe this book would be a good starter for beginners interested in Seth's concepts. A+ material thanks Rob, Jane and Seth.

Seth's psychology

This book could be called the psychology of Seth. Where his other books are geared toward describing non-physical reality and it's relation to physical reality. This book describes from Seths' unique higher perspective human psychology and is truly outstanding even among Seth books. I can't recommend this book highly enough. It ranks as high as the Eva Pierrakos channeled works from a human psychology perspective.

pure intelligence - beyond human and any 'bible'

Only the truly evolved will get the magnitude of the Seth books. Those who have read lots of other new age/ spiritual stuff - you're probably ready for the Seth stuff - it is the core, the best of the best of everything spiritual I have EVER read. Written 20 years after Seth, but virtually the same teacher with the same message, Abraham is stated more simply, almost as if Seth had learned and evolved their means of teaching and communicating- so for most I suggest starting there. See "A New Beginning" by Abraham-Hicks. After reading all the Seth and Abraham stuff - everything else you read, hear, see - seems so.....mediocre and human. The Seth books I enjoyed most were 'nature of personal reality' and 'nature of mass events'. But again - Abraham - in it's stunning simplicity is even more powerful because in the Seth books the layout is cluttered with parenthetical human observations by those speaking for and recording Seth, that are often very interesting yet also utterly irrelevant to what Seth is saying. (You'll see what I mean) . Nonetheless- congratulations to you for finding these books - you're about to get the master key to life, and power and clarity beyond your wildest dreams. I feel like finding Abrahman and Seth is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to me in life - an absolute, eternal insurance policy for a joyous, meaningful life. These books - offer nothing less.

deceptively slim

Don't let the size fool you; this volume is as packed with ideas as the books that came before. There is excellent information about gender and sexuality, some rather hard to understand stuff on the mechanics of dream creation, great playful exercises and visualizations, and some powerful words at the end on the how destructive it is to live a life of fear and/or anger based on the information you receive from "secondary sources" (ie newspapers, TV, etc.)

I love it!! A refreshing alternative to "Mars and Venus"

I have read this book's chapters on sexuality, and all I have to say is that Seth is awesome! His perspectives on sexual identity transcend the "Mars and Venus" theories that are being perpetuated by John Gray and also by a lot of New Age teachings (Ascended Masters, Twin Flames, etc.). He encourages us to look past the stereotypes of masculinity and femininity, and to embrace all our qualities and our wholeness within. We all have the potential to be intuitive as well as intellectual, wise as well as smart, and artistic as well as rational. These qualities aren't limited to just one sex or the other!Seth is very tender toward both sexes and gives them permission to share themselves with one another. He encourages men and women to celebrate their wholeness and to love each other back into their lives. This book is truly a gift, and we can use its ideas in a society that is very sexually polarized.
