Observing the truth...

It is obvious that many writing reviews bashing Master Ni are not aware of Nature and its Way. It is obvious that none who present the mundane mentality of Humanity are actual Daoists. This goes to show you that the readers do not have any sense of the Dao, and look to more complicated and societal means of expressing what one considers the truth. People can not accept the truth when it is in their faces in a plain and simple manner. They always look for the mystical talk and commercialism of expression. Any teaching that people believe in is considered cultic in today's society. This shows the mentality of Human consciousness at present. Catholicism would be considered a cult if it were just created today, the same with Judaism, Buddhism, etc. Daoist teachings go back for thousands of years. This country has only been in existence for almost 300 years. it is obvious that the culture of this country is non existent as well as its maturity in evolution. America holds a consciousness of superiority, which makes it egotistic and arrogant. With this mentality, many people begin to think they know all and everything that is created by the West is superior to all things on this planet, in this Universe. THIS IS NOT TRUE. The west is in kindergarten compared to the rest of the world, when it comes to health, the use of science and technology, and last but not least, Spirituality. I am not bashing those who disregard Master Ni's teachings. All I am expressing is a message which states, Please understand that one does not know all of the ways to express the truth, nor can one fathom the everpresent beingness of Nature's way. All one can do is realize that there is no difference between Nature and Oneself. This is a truth many can not accept. Please, think twice about the difference between commercial teachers, and those who are plain and simple.Peace, Lin Ai Weidaoist_linaiwei@yahoo.com

True cultivation IS simplicity...nothing more

To the readers who constantly bash Master Ni's work...you should stop looking for "the most profound" or "complicated" truths, because truth is very simple. If you cannot see that, then your cultivation needs more work. I really have nothing more to say. Master Ni is kind and generous enough to impart his indisputable wisdom to the world, and it really shocks me that there are still those out there who cannot recognize what is true wisdom. You can spend a whole lifetime looking outside yourself for the most complicated and dolled-up words of "taoist widsom" and techniques of "cultivation", but the truth can only be seen from within, and that is just one of the many points Master Ni is trying to convey. I have not yet read this book, but I have no doubt it will be as good his others I have read.

subtle teachings

After reading the review by our friend in france I decided to share my response concerning this book i just read. It suprised me that someone could respond the way they did to a delicate teaching such as Hua ching Ni. Anyhow the teachings of "mother of the yellow altar" are informative, historically and spiritually. For any who wish to grasp the ungraspable or emerge themselve in an immortal tradition, this book is an experience. For those unaware of the female contribution to Tao, then this bok will illuminate your understanding. For women who wish to receive wisdom from a woman, and explore their own inherent nature, this book is essential. I feel the benefits of such a treasured subtle teaching will benefit not only your own life but generations that follow.

The Doctrine of Harmony

"If you do not understand something the teacher is teaching you, do not have an emotional reaction. If the teacher is not clear in the teaching, do not have an emotional reaction. That causes you to feel either happy or upset. In the tradition of spiritual self-cultivation, your position is to borrow the teacher's existence, presence, image, teaching to help YOUR OWN spiritual cultivation. . . . . It is improper to entrust all your fortune to a teacher, . . . . Never die for your teacher or his teaching; if you do, you are placing your soul in the wolf's mouth. . . . . Learn to respect the teacher who gives you something to support the growth of your life spirit." (excerpts from Chapter 1) Had the serendipitous task of investigating further about the writer. Master Hua-Ching Ni usually travels to assist or teach at different spiritual centers around the world and leaves all the day-to-day running of Yo San College (School of Chinese Traditional Medicine and Acupuncture) to his sons. Further study of this man's work, writings and life reveal that he is a genuinely spiritually achieved person and teacher of true spiritual attainment. Read ALL his books whenever you can. Find out for yourselves. The most important work in anyone's life is your SELF-CULTIVATION. To know truth, to hear truth, to speak the truth, and to live life with absolute clarity. I highly recommend this book for most people who hear of Master Ni for the first time. Genuine spiritual seekers will find it hard to put his books down. His books require several readings as more and more applicable wisdom to your life will be revealed dependent upon your current stage of spiritual evolution and maturity.
