A real discovery about building a mystery, your Self-Image

So many books dealing with success tell us to enhance our personality vehicles, i.e. our physical, emotional, and mental bodies. Look younger, dress more beautifully, learn how to express your anger (e.g. hit a pillow) or program your mind for success, we are repeatedly implored. In stark contrast, Saraydarian advances the notion that great self-images are not contrived but, instead, are built upon realistic foundations and expanding visions. Far from bringing ultimate success, these feigned enhancements of the personality vehicles are actually diversions from our inner Divinity, he states.The author provide a fascinating discussion on the ways in which self-image should be built. It is accomplished, he states, through our thoughts, feelings, speech, action, and relationships. Most of us, he notes, like to point he finger of blame at our parents, society, politicians, or someone or something else when our lives are not what we want them to be, when we are not loved or adored. The real problem, the author claims, are the images hat WE build. If we are not happy with our lives, then ultimately we are responsible. Laying blame at another's doorstep is a waster of time, energy, and opportunity, serving only to add to our failure.Images run our life. When we act differently from what we are in reality, i.e. Divine, it means that something other than ourselves is running our lives- it is the faulty self-image controlling our lives.
