While exploring her family's new farm on her pony, Sarah stumbles upon a skeleton and a supernatural mystery involving the ponies who lived there forty years ago. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I read this book in second or third grade, and I loved it. As a mystery addict from the get-go (the first book I read was a Bobbsey Twins) and a horse lover, I found this ghostly mystery to be deliciously scary and satisfying. I swear I can almost smell Panda's coat and see the freshly-polished gleam of Oberon's nameplate in the barn. I would love to have a copy to add to my "comfort reads" library. I think the story would probably appeal to young readers today.
A great Book

I read the mystery of Pony Hollow when i was in grade 3. It was one of the first books that i'd ever read. This book will hold your attention till the very end. You'll fall in love with Panda (the horse) and all the history of mining ponies. Also the mystery of one horse named Oberon will make you wonder at first if he's still alive.
