This book is dedicated to three genius scientists Rafael Bombelli (1526 - 1572), Hermann Minkowski (1864 - 1909), and Samuel Warren Carey (1911 - 2002). All of them had brilliant and breakthrough ideas in their scientific fields, ideas which were---and still are---well ahead of accepted views. Yet they passed away without being properly understood and, consequently, without their work being developed by the rest of the scientific community. Had they been understood before, they would have shaped our comprehension of how reality is---and, more importantly, the way it is not---at its most fundamental level, beyond our belief of living in a unique spacetime. Yet, to understand them, the author had to connect the dots between mathematics (imaginary numbers), physics, and cosmology (including geology).
