A thorough story about polio that most of us have never heard

Easy to read. Loved the short chapters. I learned a lot about the history of polio, it's reputation, origin and treatments
Would totally recommend
Excellent, well written

While some of the short snippets of chapters got me irritated at their brevity, the overall effect was one of wonder and amazement. Just as we continue to learn more about the Spanish flu a hundred years after the fact, Forrest weaves a tapestry of drama into the tale of poliomyelitis. It is fitting that his name is Forrest for he is able to see the bigger picture and then take snap shots out and collage them together into a real epidemlogial page turner. Can't wait to read his other works. And yes, there is a real moth in the tale.
A must read!
