A Real Page Turner

The Moonshine Messiah is a fast paced, page turning novel that is full of Appalachian Mountain magic, grit and determination. Mary Beth Cain is the sheriff who tries to turn a blind eye to her dysfunctional family members and their crimes while walking her own tightrope of questionable practices at times. I was quickly drawn in to the story and it never failed to entertain with unexpected plot twists and great character development. The ending left me hungry for more from Mary Beth Cain. Hoping there is a sequel. Great read from Russell Johnson! More, please.
