This is the story that started in 1945 and is about two refugees that left a traveling circus in Hungary at the end of World War II. They were able to sneak aboard a US Liberty Ship in Bremerhaven, Germany on one of the trips going back to the United States. They made their way from New Jersey, traveled down through Memphis, TN, and finally ended up in Billings, Montana. Twenty-five years later after having successfully opened twelve restaurants in four states, other "quickie" restaurants started to sprout up and so their business started to suffer. Walter Donleavy had envisioned having a chain of restaurants ever since he purchased the Monarch Ranch in Colorado. However, as soon as he becomes involved in trying to purchase the chain, he is suddenly embroiled in a deadly war that involves family members, as well as "friends" from Miami, and the Bahamas.
