Who Knew?!

I always thought I had a fairly good relationship with money. It wasn't something I thought much about yet always seemed to be there when I needed it. I've been grateful for that because financial stuff makes my head fuzzy. I am now generating income in new ways and taking more control of my finances and decided to read Karen's book. I realized that my perception of money was in need of adjustment! Her book gave me an opportunity to get very clear on how I really feel about money, making money, having money and spending money. I became aware of resistances and negative perspectives that I never knew I had. Her tools were brilliant, fun and very helpful in creating my new and improved relationship with money. Money has never been my favorite subject to read a book about it. But, this book's tag line "Unlocking Peace, Freedom & Real Financial Power" sucked me in! This book is so great because it is easy to understand, it has exercises to help bring the concepts into reality and it also leaves me feeling inspired and supported...like I have my own personal financial & spiritual coach cheering and steering me on the path to Financial Freedom!!! I Learned to Renounce Poverty!

For me, the psychology of money has always been a struggle. Given my religious and cultural upbringing, it's a wonder I haven't taken a vow of poverty! Reading The Money Keys has made me so much more aware of what's going on with me. I identified with scarcity as my 'money trap'. I started noticing that fear arises around things like just opening my credit card bill, even when I rationally know that I'm not carrying a balance month to month. But now I have tools for recognizing the old, automatic patterns and then creating the responses I want to have.
