Great Information in Understated Form

I just read this book, it took me maybe two or three hours. And although it is quite short and totally devoid of feel-good stuff, I consider it probably the most valuable book on self-improvement I've ever read! Sure, I say that because I've tested several forms of treatment and read dozens and dozens of "self-help" books. Therefore I have the background to judge the true value of this diamond-in-the-rough. The book may not be that helpful to someone unfamiliar with the field, who is looking for soothing pep talk etc. You won't find that in this book, it is totally lacking in fluff. But if you want clear unbiased information on how to rid yourself of old emotional blockages I very strongly recommend this one. Edit: actually, that is the downside of this book - it doesn't give you any details of the procedure so you can do it yourself. To get those details, you have to buy a separate "Workbook". Therefore, I should have given it four stars rather than five. I have now read another book on the same subject: "Five Simple Steps to Emotional Healing: The Last Self-Help Book You Will Ever Need", - also mentioned by another reviewer here - and I have to agree with the blurb on the cover that it is "the last self-help book you will ever need". If you intend to buy only one book on self-healing - get that one!

An excellent guide to achieving success

As a 'veteran survivor' of the self-help movement, I approached this book with some scepticism, indeed only my pre-existing respect for Robert from a previous business relationship persuaded me to read it. However, "The Missing Link to Your Financial Success" is undersold by its title. Far from simply being just another guide on how to make money, this short book is in reality a powerful explanation of how we can achieve success in all spheres of life. Whatever your personal ambitions or dreams of success, Vibert explains the ways we block our own desire for success, and how dealing with that issue, we can not only achieve success, but attain a fuller, freer and more complete life. Refreshingly free of other worldly 'spiritual' jargon and with very few references to the 'self-help' phraseology which plagues so much literature in the genre, The Missing Link to Your Financial Success is a plain speaking, practical, simple, and concise guide to achieving personal success. Vibert strips away all of the mumbo jumbo and pretentious trappings that serve only to further mystify those seeking success (and make authors rich by selling sequel books that further explain what they meant in their first five) and lays out a completely attainable way that the reader can achieve success. Well researched, and wonderfully readable, this book should be at the top of the reading list, not only of every aspiring entrepreneur, but of anyone looking to improve their lives. Athletes, philanthropists, musicians, writers and those seeking for something 'more' from life will all benefit from the investment in this book.
