A sensible approach to preventing migraines that WORKS.

Finally, a solid explanation of why some foods might trigger migraine headaches, and why some migraines are different than others. Research in 1983 showed that foods to avoid if taking MAO inhibitors and foods suspected of causing migraines are one in the same. Foods that contain tyramines by themselves, or combined with low blood sugar, harmones, or stress can trigger migraine headaches. The full list (not the too simple list of red wine and chocolates) explains why many health foods can trigger migraines. Incredible that so many doctors aren't explaining this to migraine sufferers. I wish I'd read this book years ago. How wonderful to have the knowledge to avoid the migraine altogether, rather than attempt to "treat or relieve" it.
